Dr. Jeff Barr was born and raised in Ponoka, Alberta. Raised in a dental family, he and his sister both followed in their father’s footsteps to graduate with dental degrees. After completing his undergraduate in Biological Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Barr returned to central Alberta and has practiced in Red Deer ever since.
Dr. Barr and his family have always been drawn to Okotoks and the surrounding communities, and in the summer of 2020 the opportunity presented itself to relocate to Okotoks and join My Family Dental. Dr. Barr strongly believes in living and contributing to the community he works in.
Dr. Barr enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special appreciation for pediatrics and family dentistry. He has also found a keen interest in Endodontics.
Away from the office, Dr. Barr remains actively involved in hockey, golf and most racquet sports, and enjoys spending time with his wife, young daughter and his new puppy, Charlie.
