Dr. Helen Robinson
Dr. Helen Robinson has been practicing dentistry in Okotoks for over 27 years. She named her practice My Family Dental because family and community are the foundation of her business. She is passionate about dentistry and is highly regarded as a true professional. Dr. Robinson’s favourite part of her job is the opportunity she has to meet so many unique people. She especially has a soft spot for the children who visit – their innocence and humour brighten her day. Outside of work, Dr. Robinson enjoys taking her dog, Molly, for walks along the river, running and spending time with her family. Dr. Robinson enjoyed traveling and is hopeful that someday she can travel to Austria to take in the Sound of Music Tour. In the meantime, she enjoys the friendships that have evolved with her patients over her 25 years of service to the community. She enjoys the simple things in life, such as the value of true friends and family.

Dr. Jeff Barr
Dr. Barr was born and raised in Ponoka, Alberta. He was raised in a dental family, he and his sister both followed in their father’s footsteps to graduate with dental degrees. After completing his undergraduate in Biological Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he returned to central Alberta and has practiced in Red Deer since.
He and his family have always been drawn to Okotoks and the surrounding communities, and in the summer of 2020 the opportunity presented itself to relocate to Okotoks and join My Family Dental. Dr. Barr strongly believes in living and contributing to the community he works in.
Dr. Barr enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special appreciation for pediatrics and family dentistry. He has also found a keen interest in Endodontics.
Away from the office, Jeff remains actively involved in hockey, golf, and most racquet sports. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and dog, Charlie.
